Anglomoil SFG Compressor Fluids are made from synthetic hydrocarbons (PAO) and special additive packages and are NFS H-1 listed for use where incidental food contact can occur. They are specifically recommended for use in rotary compressors where incidental food contact may occur with oil in the discharge air

Product Features & Benefits

The oil in a compressor operates at high temperatures (in the vicinity of 100°C) for long periods. It must possess high resistance to oxidation.

Air always contains moisture. The oil must resist emulsification with the water. Where high metal pressures are encountered, the oil must protect against scuffing and wear.

The continuing trend towards higher Compressor system pressures is accompanied by a reduction in pump and equipment sizes. Some modern Compressor system pressures can exceed 7MPa.

Compressor oil must, therefore, lubricate, seal and cool the working components under increasing pressure, turbulence and temperature.

Anglomoil SFG Compressor oils are blended from synthetic Poly Alpha Olefin and additives which provide a high viscosity index, a low pour point, low foaming and chemical stability under a wide range of operating conditions.

Synthetic Durability

Synthetic Durability Anglomoil SFG Compressor oils will provide a far longer service life than most mineral based lubricants.

Compatibility

Anglomoil PAO lubricants are similar to mineral oils in their compatibility with paints, seals, gaskets and hoses. No special precautions related to compatibility are required when changing over from a mineral oil lubricant to an Anglomoil synthetic hydrocarbon-based lubricant.
